Default Site redesign

Let me devote this thread to various that arise when I'm trying to give PM.org a new look.

One question for you is whether you'll be ok with the boards, after a brief visual refreshment to correspond with the rest of the site would still be a separate part, since integration the accounts for the site and the forum might pose technical difficulties as we're still not sure about where's our vBulletin licence the the vb version is not that good at all.

Cheers.

Plus a preview of what I'm thinking might work - Drupal with green'n'white theme.

I'm colour-blind. Can do, but you gotta tell me the colour. Hex code preferred.

Looks good. Though I don't if the red monkey logo fits well with the green.

appreciate the work

agreed on everything. Maybe you could use the same red as the circle around the logo. that way, it blends in with the background. you should be able to find the hex code easily through photoshop.

Thanks for the colours. The new preview is here.

I'd be glad if you could list any features you'd like to be included in the new site.

I'm still open for vast criticism of the layout, I hate visual design.

edit: the forum tab is highlighted, others also do this when hovered over
.

that's exactly what i meant for the background. very good!

i would still change the font of the title and subtitle though, it's a bit generic and it needs a stroke around it.

also, i would leave the tabs the same color as the background while hovering, but i would change the color of the font while hovering over it. that way you don't have a big ugly square.

The rest looks awesome though, let's worry about content when we get to that stage

1. You don't use non-generic fonts in the internet. There are actually 5 you use. Times, Arial, Verdana... the usual ones. I'll try the stroke.

2. Can do.
